The esports world is gaining so much traction right now that it is hard to keep track of. Some of the world’s top streamers and esports players are making millions of dollars a year playing video games. So, they are basically living the dream. However, if you are fans of a lot of the world’s top streamers, you will know that the industry seems to go hand-in-hand with drama.
Not a day goes by where we don’t hear of one streamer taking a shot at another or about beef between two famous gamers being ignited or furthered. When it comes to someone who both doles out and receives a lot of shots, there’s no one quite like Tyler “Ninja” Blevins. The famous Fortnite player always seems to be at the center of something and always has something to say.

Ninja’s latest comments are in regard to Fortnite creator codes. Ever since Fortnite introduced Creative Mode, players have been given the ability to support their favorite creators. Players can do this by entering a code via the Support a Creator button. Fourteen days after that, the creator they have chosen to support will receive $5 for every 10,000 V-Bucks spent by their supporters.
During a recent stream, Ninja revealed why he rarely shares his creator code. “I don’t promote my creator code very much because I just get flamed by everybody,” Ninja explained. This is yet another reference to the amount of hate he tends to receive online, even from people who claim to be fans of his.
With his next breath, Ninja took a shot at fellow streamer Tfue. “People can like, tattoo Tfue’s [creator code] on them and everyone’s like, ‘Yeah dude!’ … I do it and I get, ‘You make way too much money already.'”
Ninja is certainly no stranger to receiving stick from people online. He even admitted to posting less text-based stuff on Twitter due to players making memes out of everything he says. Even though he is very vocal about all of this, he doesn’t seem to be too phased by it. Plus, as he hinted at during the stream, he seems to be doing pretty well for himself without the extra money that he would potentially receive by sharing his creator code.

Josh has been gaming for as long as he can remember. That love began with a mild childhood addiction to the Sega Genesis, or Mega Drive since he lives in the UK. Back then, Sonic 2 quickly became his favorite game and as you might have guessed from his picture, the franchise has remained close to his heart ever since. Nowadays, he splits his time between his PS4 and his Switch and spends far too much time playing Fortnite.
