Five months in, and Call of Duty: Mobile is still going strong. As one of the most polished shooters available on handheld devices, that doesn’t come as much of a surprise. Now, the millions of players around the globe have even more content to work through, as Tencent Games has released the latest Battle Pass — Disavowed.
The pass has several great rewards, including the beloved John “Soap” MacTavish skin at Tier 1, the Rainbow Knife at Tier 20, the RUS-79U Viking at Tier 50, and a few others. Considering Soap was the main character of Modern Warfare, it’s surprising that Call of Duty: Mobile didn’t try to implement him sooner. He’ll make a great addition to the portable title — and since he’s available at Tier 1 players won’t have to work too hard to unlock him.
A new close-quarters map — Cage — has also been added. This highly anticipated level is the first original map for Call of Duty: Mobile, as all previous levels had been ported from other games in the franchise. The Cage map is a construction site with plenty of partially built barricades and lends itself well to Call of Duty’s fast-paced action.

The last big addition is the H.I.V.E Operator skill. This ability will let players us the Hive Gun to place a proximity mine trap for unsuspecting foes. When the trap is triggered, a swarm of nano drones are released that will attack nearby enemies. However, it only has six bullets — players need to be strategic when picking trap locations.
We knew it was coming, but it’s still sad to see it go — Zombies will be leaving the game on March 25. According to an official update on Reddit, the mode never achieved the high quality goals the developer had hoped for. The second map that was planned — Nacht Der Untoten — won’t be seeing a global release, but there is a possibility the Zombies mode will return in the future. No official word has been given, but the door hasn’t been closed, either.
Call of Duty: Mobile, along with the Disavowed Battle Pass, are now available on iOS and Android.
